Biobide receives “Be the Buzz of BIO” award

Biobide, the company specialising in automatic testing en masse of new pharmaceutical drugs, using the zebra fish (Danio rerio) as the animal model, has been awarded the “Be the Buzz of BIO” prize by the Biotechnological Industries Organisation (BIO).

The BIO organisation is the most numerous of this kind, this year presenting the “Be the Buzz of BIO” competition as a novelty, within the framework of the International BIO Convention in Atlanta 2009. The criteria that have been taken into account to award the prizes were: the most innovative technology, the best quality of presentation and solidity of ideas.

Together with Biobide, the winning companies were Zenda Technologies, Koronic Pharmaceuticals and Impact Systems. The prize received by each of these four enterprises is a free complete registration for the convention and the opportunity to present their company with a talk within the “Business Forum” of the Congress.
